Updates & new Features

We're excited to announce that Totoy has switched from Open AI's large language model to Microsoft Azure's GPT-3.5-Turbo, ensuring our users benefit from enhanced privacy and full GDPR compliance.

This significant shift, involving moving our operations fully to the EU and discontinuing the use of US-based services for EU users, is aligned with our strict privacy policies. While Azure retains the text data for a brief 30-day window to monitor for misuse, it will then be permanently deleted from Azure’s GPT-3.5-Turbo instance. User data will not be used to train AI models without explicit consent.

We take data protection and privacy very seriously and will continue to make improvements in this area. You can find our updated privacy down below.

In today's update we finalized the user interface in Hungarian, Romanian and Turkish.

In addition to German, English and Filipino, that makes a total of 6 languages that are not in the beta status anymore. More languages will follow soon.

Of course, all of our other languages are still available for use and the explanation and translation should work flawlessly.

If you have any suggestions or are in urgent need of a particular language, do not hesitate to reach out.

We are super proud to announce the launch of Totoy on the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Starting today, the Totoy app is available to download for free.

Totoy already understands 95 languages so you can scan documents in almost any language. You can currently choose from the following languages for explanations and the user interface:
